Video – 4.0 out of 5
The Blu-ray presentation of Lilo & Stitch holds up remarkably well, despite being sourced from an older HD master. Detail is solid across character outlines and environmental textures, though some softness and light aliasing occasionally appear, especially in fast-motion scenes. Watercolor backgrounds retain their signature pastel charm, and color reproduction is strong with warm tropical hues. While it lacks the expanded dynamic range of the 4K HDR version, this Blu-ray still delivers a pleasing, filmic visual experience for 1080p displays.

Audio – 4.5 out of 5
Disney’s DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 mix is full-bodied and lively. Surround channels are well-utilized for ambient island sounds, space-bound chaos, and Elvis-fueled musical sequences. Dialogue is clear and properly balanced, with the mix offering solid dynamics and depth across front and rear speakers. While not as immersive as the 4K’s Atmos track, this 7.1 presentation remains excellent for a Blu-ray release and preserves the film’s energetic tone and emotional resonance.

Special Features – 2.0 out of 5
All bonus content on the Blu-ray appears to be ported from the original DVD in standard definition:

Hula Lesson (3:36)
Animating the Hula (3:04)
DisneyPedia: Hawai’i – The Islands of Aloha (8:46)
Burning Love: Behind the Scenes with Wynonna (1:32)
ATeens Music Video – “Can’t Help Falling in Love”* (1:02)
Your ‘Ohana’ Music Video (2:11)
A Stitch in Time: Follow Stitch Through the Disney Years (3:31)
Inter-Stitch-ials: Theatrical Teaser Trailers (4:21)
Audio Commentary
While nostalgic and charming, the extras feel dated and would have benefited from updated HD content or retrospective features. A digital copy is also included.

Overall – 4.0 out of 5
The Lilo & Stitch Blu-ray remains a strong catalog release with solid video, excellent audio, and a decent collection of classic extras. Though its visuals don’t quite match the vibrancy of the new 4K transfer, this disc delivers a satisfying experience for fans of the original animated film. A great option for collectors or families upgrading from DVD. Recommended.
