Every grimy detail is faithfully preserved—fabrics, facial textures, dirt, decay—all pop with tactile realism. Though the film leans dark in tone and palette, shadow detail is never compromised. The drag sequences allow vibrant primaries to break through the bleakness, adding balance. Easily one of the most impressive 1080p presentations of the year.
