This 1080p Blu-ray uses the same new 4K master but without HDR. It is a sharp, clean, and high-bitrate encode typical of Sony:

• Excellent detail for a 1080p presentation
• Natural contrast and no digital noise or smearing
• Colors remain vibrant, though not as luminous as the 4K HDR
• Black levels competent but less dimensional than UHD

For users not running 4K, it is an above-average HD transfer sourced from pristine material.

Audio Quality — 4 / 5

The Blu-ray downmixes to DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1:

• Crisp dialog and score balance
• Surround effects during power use are active but less enveloping than Atmos
• Low-end impact still present, just flatter versus UHD track
