  This 2024 SteelBook edition uses the same transfer as the 2011 Lionsgate disc—still beautiful, even if not remastered in 4K. The dreamlike amber/green/red color palette is rich and deliberate, and textures remain finely rendered with natural grain and crisp contrast. CG elements look a bit dated, but otherwise the picture is vibrant, imaginative, and thematically fitting. A clean, filmic presentation with zero artifacting or banding.

  This immersive French 5.1 mix is poetic and playful, much like Amélie herself. Dialogue and narration float gently across the front channels, while whimsical sound effects and Yann Tiersen’s enchanting score dance through the surrounds. Bass is modest but thoughtfully deployed. This mix preserves the spirit of the film’s heart and humor beautifully.
